As part of working with planetary energies and meridians, being able to work with sacred flames is vital. Therefore I also offer workshops in anchoring the Sacred Flames of the Goddess into your chakras.
The flames each have their own frequency and function. The main flames I work with are: The Brigit Flame which looks just like a fire flame and represents the Earth Mother energy. Think of all the things which the Goddess Brigit is famous for: healing, art and crafts, poetry, and you will understand the gifts which the Brigit Flame brings.
The Magdalene Flame, which I received from Jhadten Jewell and is magenta, connected to the energy of Mary magdalene, the Feminine Disciples Flame, and the Madonna Light, which is blue and represents the Divine Mother of the Stars. This particular flame helps your soul/higher self and your personality to work together without too much conflict of wills!! Working this in the landscape does the same with the collective human psyche!
These are the female versions of the Three-fold flame as we are currently anchoring the energies of The Divine Mother as our ancestors knew her.
Sometimes a green flame will enter the picture but I'm still waiting to understand that one!!
I run a day-long workshop anchoring these flames into your energy field so that you can work with them in your healing practice, personal practice or while doing earth work. You do not have to be a gaiamethod practitioner in order to work with these flames but at least a Reiki second degree would be best. You need to have some expereince in working with your emotional and physical healing in order to make the best use of these flames.
6 sacred flames there are in the land of the Great Ones. Each is set to be fired-up at particular times, set to coincide with significant, and particular, world events.
As each new flame is re-ignited it sets off a series of energetic implosions. These events are designed to ‘unmanifest’ the current physical and mental climate so that a more emotional climate, that of the goddess energies, can be born.
In order for the great flames to be established you must heed our words carefully, for each flame must be activated at the right time if the corresponding events are to occur. All is perfectly timed. Follow our guidance surely and you will begin to understand the meaning behind these colossal events.
A truly momentous ‘turn of the screw’ will begin its unstoppable movement until it at last comes to rest at its new position.
Reiki is an ancient and profoundly simple healing system of 'the laying on of hands'. The word Reiki in Japanese means literally 'energy healing' and a Reiki healer is able to channel this energy through their own body, allowing it to pass into the clients physical body. In order to be able to channel the Reiki energy an attunement becomes necessary.
The system of Reiki is a method of energetic healing that allows all aspects of the person to heal and clear. This can lead to a healthier, more fulfilling life, bringing abundance and joy, but also groundedness and an awareness of what is. It was developed in the early twentieth century by Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi and Hawayo Takata and continues to develop and expand to this day. However, the system originally created by Usui is not the system we use today. It has been changed over the years.
When I first learned Reiki I was trained as a physical healer but this never worked for me. I felt no connection to the symbols and thought I was doing it all wrong because I never managed to heal anyone of a physical ailment. However, when Bronwen and Frans Stiene wrote their book 'The Reiki Sourcebook' my relationship to Reiki completely changed. It made perfect sense! I began to work with Reiki as a spiritual development practice and hands-on practice but with a view to improving the persons life holistically. This now works for me. I am aware that this process of Reiki opened the doors to developing other Reiki modalities some of which I also teach, but that all of them have, primarily, the same intention. To improve our lives and to have a positive impact on the planet and all its inhabitants.
To quote from the Stienes book "The Japanese techniques are based on building the flow of Ki through the body's energetic pathways and strengthening the hara centre using Reiki. This, in turn, energetically clears the body, mind and heart thus raissing a practitioner's vibration level enabling one to become lighter and lighter."
In the Usui tradition there are three Reiki Degrees, each one building on the other.
The Three Reiki Degrees.
The First Reiki degree (Shoden) opens the student to the universal energies, but is intended to create a good connection to the earth chi. Becoming grounded is most important, especially if you want to go on to do the second degree! Being grounded means being infinitely more capable of being successful in the world, no matter what that word means to you. It is primarily for learning to sense energy, or Ki, and using the knowledge gained by cultivating the energy for healing yourself and others.
During a Reiki class you will learn a sequence of hand positions for treating yourself and others and the basics of chakras and how to work with them. I tend to focus more on teaching Reiki the way Usui taught it but also include the Reiki that we know now in the west. I find that both systems work quite well together. Some people will find which way is best for them to learn. I like to allow people to find their own specific way of working with energy as some have different abilities to others. This is developed so that they can learn new skills and also know the foundation of usui Reiki. We will use energy exercises to build our awareness of energies in much the same way as Usui used.
The Second Degree attunement (Okuden) significantly increases the amount of energy the student can channel. It focusses on strengthening your knowledge of, and connection to, the energy. This is helped by the use of symbols which help you to focus the energies and to really 'become' them. Different exercises are added here so that you can develop your connection to the universe once your groundedness has been established and maintained. This class focuses on learning the many ways to use the symbols and how to send Reiki for distant healing.
The Third Degree attunement ( Shinpiden) is the Master/Teacher training and with this the student learns a new symbol which allows her to pass on the attunements to other students. This class teaches the new Reiki Master/Teacher how to teach others and how to pass the attunements of each degree. This level further helps you to continue your personal development and to advance deeper into your spiritual core. Again there are exercises to help you improve your ability to work with the energies and to 'become' them.
Reiki really is a lifelong learning process. I have been doing it for 14 years and my knowledge continues to deepen. It is a powerful process and one I would recommend to anyone who is serious about their spiritual journey.
